Myles Miller is Americas Managing Editor at Bloomberg Television and reports on the national desk for Bloomberg News. He joined Bloomberg in 2024 with over 15 years of experience in breaking news, legal, and investigative journalism.
Prior to joining Bloomberg, Miller spent five years as a reporter at WNBC-TV, where he led breaking news coverage across television and digital. His outstanding journalism during the COVID-19 pandemic earned him both a prestigious duPont-Columbia Award and an Emmy Award.
Prior to joining WNBC, Miller was Deputy Press Secretary and senior advisor to the Commissioner at the New York City Fire Department. There he led crisis communications and intergovernmental affairs. At Spectrum News, as chief investigative reporter, he launched the network’s first long-form programming unitand produced an Emmy Award-winning documentary on New York’s opioid crisis.
As a reporter for WPIX-TV, he covered major national events including the Inauguration of President Donald Trump, the 2016 Democratic National Convention, and Pope Francis’ U.S. visit. His investigative work led to legislative reform, while his digital strategy propelled the station’s website to the top of comScore rankings for New York local news.
Miller also contributed to The New York Times as a consultant, helping to launch the video breaking news desk and NYT Now. As White House reporter for The Daily, he covered the Obama administration, Congress, and the Supreme Court.
In addition to his journalism career, Miller has led global communications efforts for some of the world’s most influential companies. At Meta, he oversaw strategic media relations, crisis response, and executive communications across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, including product launches, regulatory issues, and high-profile appearances by CEO Mark Zuckerberg. At Accenture, he served as Senior Manager in global communications, working directly with the CEO and Global Management Committee on messaging, reputation strategy, and internal communications.
